Meet Dr. Levin

Dr. Levin attended college at Brown University obtaining baccalaureate degrees in History and Biology.  He received his medical degree from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.  He served as resident and chief resident in ophthalmology at the California Pacific Medial Center in San Francisco. After specialty training in Ophthalmic Plastic and Orbital Surgery in San Francisco, he completed the prestigious Ophthalmic Plastic Surgical Fellowship at Duke University. He expanded his expertise to surgery of the entire face and neck by completing a preceptorship in facial plastic surgery. In 1989, a nation-wide search ended as Dr. Levin was named as the first full-time Director of Ophthalmic Plastic and Orbital Surgery in the Department of Ophthalmology at Stanford University. In 1992, Dr. Levin opened his private medical offices. He continues as Co-Director of Stanford’s programs in Ophthlamic Plastic and Orbital Surgery and Adjuvant Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology while offering his private services in his Mountain View office.

Dr. Levin is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.  He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, the American Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery, the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.

Dr. Levin serves on the medical staffs of El Camino Hospital, Stanford University Medical Center, and Mills-Peninsula Hospital.
