Orbital Decompression Surgery

Orbital Decompression surgery is a procedure that may be necessary for patients with visual loss or Grave’s disease that has caused significant disfigurement. In orbital decompression, Dr Levin creates fractures on the thin bone of the orbital walls, allowing the orbital contents to be displaced into the sinuses. This results in a significant diminution of proptosis, the bulging eyes retreating back into the orbit, creating a more natural appearance.
